Cannot wait for Thiago to come back. Fabinho and Thisgo in midfield takes us to another level.

We destroyed Watford on the weekend and he was useless. Scored a goal but did nothing last night.

Henderson is having a poor season too imo.

Miller has been decent, but his age shows now.

Milner was terrible. Hendo wasn't great either. Keita was great in the opening ten minutes, he was key to how well we played. However, after scoring he became worst player on the pitch bar none. If he did his job, neither AM goal happens; if you can't tackle then stand them up and wait for help, don't let them glide passed you with minimum effort! I'd have been fuming had he not been hooked at HT. I wasn't happy about Milner staying on but taking both off meant 45mins of Ox!

Felix was superb though, I'll give you that. I'd love him at Liverpool.

am afraid Naby dived in and was totally and utterly done. He was totally done for the first goal too. Others were out of position too so it’s not all his fault but it’s hard to anticipate your team mate not doing what he’s meant to. You could say that it was poor defending all round, both starting with big Naby basic errors. Interesting debate about Matip not being able to clear for the first goal….all a moot point now I guess.

btw, I thought that Ox did well when he came on.

I am with Jimmy on this one. We had a structural defending issue but it is easy to pick out a player and lay blame when others can hide behind the initial error

If Naby was the issue, those same problems still persisted even after he left and were it not for the brilliance of Alisson the narrative on the rest would be different.

It is also worth noting Naby has played 5 games back to back in 9 days I believe and is not injured maybe just maybe he was knackered and Klopp did mention the same

structural issue or flaws that are always there that were brutally exposed by some brilliant play? Possibly a little of both.

I was very impressed by their forwards. Lemar caught my eye. Still only 25.

Having watched it back (cheers Sucky)
    Few thoughts
-their goal like ours on Sat should not have stood
I am defo old school with my line of thought on if you are on the pitch you should be interfering-
It’s weird how there has been a spate of those recently ?

-unpopular opinion but I don’t think it’s a red as an individual like I didn’t with mane and ederson,
look at how high Nabys foot is on his goal
Are we saying if there is a player near by thats a red ?
If firmino doesn’t put his head down toward the boot I think the ref gives a yellow
However at least it went in our favour
-think all the player bashing is negative - boys did well to come through that
-think ours was a pen think the am player made waaaaaaay to much of it if you watch he is going over from the slight touching of legs
Would have accepted either decision (stupid to put himself in that position from Jota)
-thought the ref was okay but did lose a bit of control but understand how in that atmosphere
-got to admire the fans in there
    Last thing
    -Suarez should have gone
Yellow for arguing and yellow for challenge on VVD
Tbh those stick your arse out bend over (oooer) and nudge the players are really dangerous
The way he fell looked so bad
    -Made up with win

MACCA. complete bitter little bluenose. I cannot believe we gave him an ambassador role that time. He is as biased as neville against us constantly but for some reason thinks he is still an "in" with us.

If you look at certain issues with other sports and that a block on that area with bladed boots? You could actually kills someone!I think we all see is not meant, thats irrelevant. Hes gone high and caught a player so off you go.

I mean this is the thing again about concussion etc. in rugby if you made a tackle there even if just not meaning it then you'd be off but football "oh its fine"

Just shows how key Fabinho is to our midfield and we have no real cover for him

Also how was the first goal not given to Milner? He deflected it from going straight to Oblak in the middle of the goal, to putting it into the far corner ffs <laugh>

mate. naby did alright but he lost it and someone had to go.

I made the comment about milner that he was driving me spare as he was playing LW not CM and driving me potty. He pulled the entire side over to one side of the park and left our right side copleptely open.

Naby was poor for both goals and gave the ball away. matip ****ed it up too. then vvd ****ed it up.

I think I heard that’s only their second defeat in the CL at home in that stadium, last time lost was to Chelsea.

    Not 100% on that though
