    Liverpool 3 3 0 0 11 5 6 9
    Atletico 3 1 1 1 4 4 0 4
    Porto 3 1 1 1 2 5 -3 4
    AC Milan 3 0 0 3 3 6 -3 0

Groups not totally over but the away game v milan is starting to look like a dead rubber game where a lot of fringe players should start.

Porto looks weak so i can't see us losing to them, we should really win that one.
Atletico are dangerous so that's a must draw game again.

Its amazing how many goals we are leaking against half decent sides.

If we beat atletico then they are done and we qualify at worst second, assuming porto win and are on 7. A draw v proto and its happy days.

for a group of death its gone swimmingly than groups where we have much easier games.

This too. Sometimes it is easy to forget about the brilliance of our opposition players. Felix was smooth as ****. I am also happy we won but given a hard examination meaning we do not get to be lazy at United

I suppose Klopp must be in on the witch-hunt as well, then?

It would be great if you had your own opinion one day and not blindly follow Klopp.

I’m not saying Naby was great. I just find the witch hunt incredibly sad when it’s only player who is being completely called out when we actually won the game, AND he scored a goal!

Henderson played abysmally vs Milan but scored a goal. Pretty much identical circumstances but who gets the criticism? That is what I have a problem with.

yeah felix was silky, Griezmann top quality and Lemar beat his man at ease. That stadium and those fans are impressive and it’s all orchestrated by a tactically brilliant coach…even if it’s is too defensive for my taste.

Shame they’re all connected in their snidiness. All that brilliance is tainted by blatant cheating and for me, dulled by the super negative approach. But each to their own.

As Lamborini says, we still had the same issues in the second half without Naby, and we even had a man advantage!

I’ll definitely not excuse Naby for the first goal. It’s absolutely atrocious defending. Second goal was brilliant and Naby wasn’t the only who could have done better.

People forgetting that Allison also had to save two or three 1v1’s which had nothing to do with Naby but we all forget that. It’s a shame Naby didn’t have Allison to bail him out

People do seem to be losing sight of the fact that this is the Spanish champions we were playing, not some mid-PL team. Of course they have the quality to expose us at times.
We dug deep and carved out a fairly ugly (by our standards) win, with a little bit of luck. It was a massive win - shame it's only a group game, really.

Yeah, they are a top, top side that we have just beaten at their place. One of the best teams in Europe without doubt.

Really? Looked very much like it was and when it went in, he celebrated as if he got the touch and even tweeted tongue in cheek he wouldn’t try claim it.

Nah, it was replayed several times and was clearly off the defender. On target so Mo's goal.

I can’t believe we aren’t happier with the result last night

really cant believe I am one of the happiest

so many things impressed me last night
It’s exactly the type of game I want to see us win

when we are on song and blitzing teams it’s easy to win - but to go two up
Lose the lead - and go on and get the win

    I am happy

And it would be great if you didn't think your opinion was an objective truth. I'd take Klopp's decision over yours or mine every time. Even if I did disagree with it, it's his that counts.
I can't actually believe you wrote that.

Im sorry Saint but most of your replies end with ‘I trust Klopp’ or ‘I rather agree with Klopp over your opinion’.

of course Klopp knows more about football than anyone of us here but it’s such a stupid argument to make when we are talking about football in a forum which is designed to debate.

It’s a lazy argument to make.

i completely agree with this. Unfortunately if you read the headlines, you would be thinking Naby is a scumbag and we lost 5-0 and got relegated.

we beat one of the toughest opponents we’ve ever come across in my opinion. Don’t give a **** how we played - 3 points is all that matters.
