    Of course we understand, all those years of butt hurt every time he rinsed Liverpool in his playing days will take a lifetime to get over mate.

    Much as Neville is wrong, John Cross seems to have missed the point, and his own hypocrisy. But then, tabloid hacks aren't the sharpest tool in the box <doh>

    You can be a pundit without calling for managers heads on spikes, that was the point he made last night, he claimed he’d never done it in all his time as a pundit, so why would he do it over Ole, especially when he knows the bloke and played alongside him?

    And the point he was making was that John Cross did the same with Wenger so why should he have a problem with Neville doing the same.

    A point completely lost on Cross from his response. He completely missed what Neville was saying.
