I have been saying for a long time we will be locked down from 25th October exactly 2 months before Christmas which will be the next carrot dangled to look forward to .
Same script as last year.

I think you are forgetting that there were a lot of restrictions in place this time last year - no mass gatherings for starters.

where you do have a point about vaccines is that their effectiveness is wearing off so people especially the oldies need to get their booster jab soonish.
