A member of the Qatari royal family has admitted killing a pedestrian in his Rolls Royce.
He was doing double the speed limit near Buckingham Palace and hit a 66-year-old man.
He plead guilty to causing death by careless driving and was fined £25k and banned from driving for 3 years.

That's not an unusual sentence for such things, unfortunately.
His lawyer claimed that imprisoning him would have "a reputational impact on his business".
So what? Killing people by driving like a maniac should do that. Lock these twats up.

Amazed that the Foreign Secretary didn't aid them into getting out of the country on a chartered plane to allow them to hide behind diplomatic immunity

    Wouldn't be the first time...

The sheer stupidity of government ministers stating that the public should take responsibility and wear masks in public indoor areas or ... they will go back to making masks compulsory in public indoor areas is breathtaking.

Perfectly put. If their goal is individual responsibility, then making seat belts voluntary would be a more sensible place to start. Because masks protect others more than they protect the wearer while seat belts are exactly the opposite (and might even make third parties less safe by making drivers more confident to take risks).

And yet their mates in the press are instead attacking Labour for the double standards of wearing masks in Commons, but not at their party conference

I'm sure it just slipped their mind that, for the Labour conference, every single attendee had to provide evidence of a negative lateral flow test before being allowed in...

In other news, remember when Louise Mensch launched her own social media platform that died a death within six months? No reason why I'm asking...
