I'm not a Mourinho fan but we currently aren't a big draw for players (putting it mildly). I have no doubt that we're more likely to be able to sign notable players with Mourinho at the helm than with Potter - though i would prefer the latter as manager. I reckon if (and that's an IF) we were to become a big club then you need to seem like a viable option for players to sign for - ahead of the likes of West Ham, Villa, etc. You then need to build around those players over the course of years and probably need to bring in a second wave (progressive manager, young hungry players and the odd star) if you want to actually win anything.
I'm not I just have a preference. I'll take Jose but I'd rather try something new because all man united fans can't be wrong and Tottenham fans hated it too. Footballs changed
There's a big media push to get another bottom feeder as manager. They're either good or they're not.
My only worry about Fonseca is we don’t have the players to play his way and I’m not sure he’ll be able to get them in January either…..he’s teams can’t defend…..how would people feel having someone like Hodgson on a short term contract to get us to the summer?
Jose is the man. It's his destiny. Life always goes full circle. You always end at where you started. Sir Bobby is pulling the strings of fate. Jose is his Luke Skywalker! Jose will be our manager, eventually!! The order of the Galaxy will be restored!
Tbf we don't have the players to play crap football either. People are falling into the trap of thinking we need a short term fix. I don't think it matters if we stay or or not.. The sooner we start learning to play the right way the sooner we'll get there.
