Completely agree about Bernard, yet still in general play was ok, says it all really how bad I thought everybody else was by comparison!
Yeah, the reason I referenced Bernard and Honeyman specifically is that they prob would have been 2 and 3, but I just couldn't bring myself to vote for anyone else after yesterday!
Bernard Elder Honeymonster Disappointing result but we could easily have had 5 with last season's finishing.
Hudds for his 25min cameo Ingram for keeping us in it. Elder - for the cross. Special mentions for Wilks and Smallwood...............awful
Bit late (!), but I agree. Not just the misplaced passes and ineffectiveness, but the way he pushed so far forward, often even ahead of the front 3, leaves huge gaps in midfield, and created problems with our link up play through the middle i.e. the 'formula' ISN'T working. Still, hopefully I'm proved wrong today.
Some scientists from nasa are currently doing tests. It might have deflected a comet from an impact in siberia.
I once remeber a sketch in CI or tiger rag - when still a mag sold outside the ground. Pre-cyber days. Chris Hargreaves pissing at a urinal and still missing. Yet todays squad cant handle a sarky comment in the media without chucking their toys out. They're absolutely right when they say they need to grow up fast.
Not sure mate, better opponents for a start although that doesn't really fit since we created the chances, lack of confidence certainly, lack of recently getting themselves into those positions so 'ring-rusty', and maybe - just maybe - a realisation that we're probably doomed cutting off the adrenalin? Beats me!!
We missed loads of chances last season too. Especially around the turn of the year, it was ridiculous at times.
Yep, although we still managed to win mostly last season whilst missing chances so must be better opposition this season taking theirs. Ultimately we still had enough chances to win yesterday.
