I don't think anyone realistically expected us to get anything today, but it would have been nice if we bothered to turn up.

Writing was on the wall this season when fans started celebrating 0-0 draws against two of last year's bottom five.

How is Kabak getting to the edge of the Chelsea box...and his best option is to screw the ball horribly over the bar? Not a single passing option for him.

When we set up dreaming of a 0-0 & concede 2 simple goals in the first few minutes they don't look like they know what to do.

You have to go for it even if you end up letting in another 4 .

Goal difference is not going to define our season that's for certain

What happens to us when we hit the Prem? We have clearly been the best team in the Champs in two of the three seasons before this. We beat the runaway leaders of the Champs 6-0 in a Cup game earlier this season (OK, I know they played a somewhat weakened side, but it wasn't their under-18s). We played Cup games when we were in the Champs and pushed top Prem sides all the way. But we hit the Prem and we suddenly dissolve into rubbish. Why? What is it?

Better than most of our options, our attacking game plan seems to be get to the half way line and then try to lob the ball over the top, as yet we haven’t got one over their defence

We're playing 3 central midfielders, none of them are within 40 yards of a Pukki as he charges forwards. Pukki gets tackled, and then Rudiger manages to bypass our entire midfield with a simple ball over the top of all of them. What's the point? Why are we playing such a flat, ineffective midfield?

This isn't even a training game for Chelsea, their U23s probably put up more resistance. Nobody in a Norwich shirt gives a ****.

    What a disaster.
Krul and the rest of the defence, tip tapping the ball, we loose it again.
    3-0 and its only 40min

Our WBs are playing as attacking wingers, midfield and attackers not pressing properly, literally so easy for Chelsea to just pass and move around us

Since we beat Leicester our last win 17 games ago the aggregate is 33-3 & 1 of those was a penalty

To be fair to us, we look like we are playing Chelsea at exactly the wrong time.

It’s away from home and they have played good stuff. Let’s not forget these guys won the Champions League.

Feel for your fans, your boards ambition seems to be to qualify for parachute payments, they make Mike Ashley look like Abramovic

7 Norwich "defenders" lined up across the penalty box, and still absolutely no pressure on Mount to stop him hitting one.

This is shocking. Nobody pressing, nobody tracking runners, nobody defending space, we have no idea what to do without the ball.

With the ball, our plan is "punt it to Sargent/Pukki and let them figure it out".

We've got to put some definition into that midfield. Ditch Lees-Melou and McLean for Sorensen and Tzolis/Dowell. Make it more a 5-2-1-2 with clear roles in the midfield and a link to the strikers.

It might look like that from the outside, but I don’t think that’s quite true. Our board’s aim is effectively to balance the books - Delia Smith isn’t taking money out of the club like Mike Ashley. They spend what they make but don’t risk making a loss.

Then rule number two for them is they want to play nice football.

Unfortunately, when you look at the lower half Premier League stalwarts, if you’re not spending money regularly, you almost inevitably have to play **** football. It’s the only way to survive in the Premier League without spending money.

So we are stuck: either we loosen ourselves strings beyond income or we play a worse style.

Smart play at the end of the half to run out the clock rather than try to get something. :emoticon-0181-fubar

    Scars of seasons past.

Embarrassing and depressing to be planning for the Championship. It's bloody October.

I'm lurking on the PinkUn message board at the same time as commenting on this. As you can imagine, it's vitriolic. I never thought I would say this, but I think the Leeds game might be crucial to Farke's future.

EDIT: I'm not saying I agree. I'm just reporting the mood.

I never thought I would think this, but he looks effing broken on the sidelines. The team isn't playing for him.

Im sceptical as to how true the Pinkun message board is to how fans are thinking, but if that’s an indication then frankly our season’s over. The moment the fans turn on Farke we are doomed, doesn’t matter how much faith the players maintain.

It’s a bit frustrating though, because he’s still the safest bet as a manager in the Championship…
