If Tindall is number 2, what is Jones, Head coach perhaps?

Im fully behind Howe. He plays attacking football, defensively he isnt great but im hoping/praying we get top defensive coaches in with him. Hopefully the toxic section of our fanbase give him enough time and remember that he has inherited a mess.

Jones is something, another coach alongside Tindall I guess.

Jones and Tindall have worked together and Jones has got himself a decent rep, so it makes sense to hang on to him.

I think any glint of sun off Shelvey's head will remind them of that! We just need to get a couple of wins on the board and he'll be fine with the majority of fans

We have a decent defensive if it gets sorted out properly, if they just play like a bunch of drunk clowns like they did under Bruce, we're in the ****. Schar, Fernandez and Clark are all clearly decent.

Totally agree mate, i just meant the defensive aspect of football isnt Howes greatest trait. Hopefully he gives the players the boost/kick up the ass thats needed. His football is exciting, when it clicks the fans will love it. My vision is that he steadys the ship for the next two seasons working alongside a top director of football who gradually increases the quality in the squad with incomings and outgoings. Its all about stability at the minute and staying up. I love this club.

Manages Al-Ettifaq in the saudi league. 1 win, 4 draws and 3 losses this season. Better than Bruce it would appear and a Saudi to boot

He'd be perfect provided he brings some warm clothes.

Media still on the wind up claiming Howe was Charnley's first choice.

Tbf that's an irrelevance, he's first in terms of being offered and wanting the job. It's like me saying where was my wife on a list of women I wanted to be in bed with every night.

    Well not quite.

It's like saying you asked lots of women to be in your bed every night but after working your way down to the ugly munter you finally got a yes.

    Think about it.

The difference is that your owners asked other managers (ergo women) who said no and settled for the one that said yes. How many women did you ask to marry before settling on your wife and how does she feel about this?

A lot of people are assuming that Howe was a long way down the list of candidates, he certainly wasn't.

So he was in front of Conte, Favre and Emery? Lets forget the pie in the sky deluded comments about Klopp and Pep and remain realistic.

Ashley apparently looked at Howe. If Ashley had appointed him the bed sheets would have been out in force and phone boxes and horses would have feared for their safety.
