Very easy to say now that Curran, rather than Billings, should have replaced Roy. We didn't use Billings with the bat, and Curran is the closest replacement for Mills in the squad.

But it's a pointless thing to say now. You can't use hindsight to form the judgement. Before a ball was bowled, I wanted the extra batter. Maybe Curran could have come in rather than Wood, who was let down in both matches. But that's about it. Losing Mills to injury always looked a bad outcome.
