When a player is hurt (even if it is only his feelings) it makes sense to bring on a substitute?

 

What worries me is that we were on a great run with Vin last year, then it all went pair shaped

Lol the other worry is that whilst I was away We were unbeaten. I come back, the thread is jinxed and we lose to bottom of the table Norwich. Meltdown ensues, I lose my **** again at all over the negativity over one result and take another not606 holiday.

I’ll do a new thread, what’s the worst that could happen

 

There comes a point when too many jinxes becomes a counter-jinx in itself, and a man of your experience should know that. So;

- Norwich are bottom: Jinx 1
- New manager: Jinx 2
- We are in great form: Jinx 3
- Vin going AWOL during a winning run: Jinx 4
- You coming back: Jinx 5

So with all of this going against us, it's actually starting to look like a comfortable win for us, if you get what I mean. In fact, if you were to *ahem* lose the dishwasher game, I'd say that increases our chances of a win even more. But obviously now that I've written this, the momentum may perhaps begin shifting back. So I'll just stop here.

 

Stuffed 9-0, zero points for the rest of the season, relegation, asset-stripped by Gao, liquidation.

 

The upside of a win is that I will have to disappear for awhile again.

 

Lose at home to Portsmouth in the FA Cup, Global warming raises sea levels and St Marys is under 3 feet of water, football is banned....

 

Ah but the positive is that Nortarf Krap will also be under water

 

Why would being under water decrease the attractiveness of Portsmouth?

 

Just saw an article which ranked JWP as the 5th best captain in the EPL....also described Saints as an exciting team. Make of that what you will.

I’m interested because one of the sites I have started to stop reading seems to not realise Saints even exist. And consider them a bit pointless

So seeing something more positive would be useful
