    Thought you might say that.

I'm sure it is, fck knows why I haven't.

Good to know there's an unseen gem out there I haven't seen though.

Surprised you gave Bombshell a lowish score.

Midsommer. Not seen it but is that the one with Florence Pugh in it? <whistle>

Just seen the latest Bond film.

I'm not a huge fan of the franchise so I'd imagine quite a few characters' back stories and key plot details sailed over my head (such as how Colonel Hans Landa ended up in Belmarsh missing an eye and who the blonde french girl was). I also thought M was played by Judi Dench so clearly I'm a bit out of the loop <laugh>

Despite the above, I thought it was excellent. Couple of the chase scenes are a bit samey (the opening chase and the one through the Swedish forest have far too many similarities) and villains in Bond films seem to go to the same target practice as Stormtroopers, but otherwise a really solid film.

    Venom 2

Not bad, not brilliant, 6/10. Tom Hardy carries it with the Venom chats. I like Woody Harrelson as an actor but didn’t think this role suited him whilst Naomie Harris is absolutely tragic as her character.

I thought it was better than the first. Probably because of the Tom Hardy/Venom bantz. Seemed to work better this time.

I really liked the first, found that one a lot better overall. Agree that in this one Hardy was brilliant and the Venom stuff is funnier than the first but I just couldn’t buy Harrelson or Harris’ characters, which somewhat ruined it for me, Harris especially I thought was terrible.
