Whats a 360 degree view at a football match? You can see whats going on behind you?

Begs the question that if Lee Hoos finds out that I can turn round a watch the back wall of the upper loft any time I like, will he be charging me double too

The top qualifier from Oceania should automatically qualify
Does the top team of any other area not qualify

The All Whites' road to the 2022 Football World Cup will go through North America, after FIFA announced its qualifying playoff draw on Saturday.

Earlier this month, FIFA announced the playoffs will be single-leg matches at a neutral venue which ended a long tradition of home-and-away contests, which have produced some memorable occasions in New Zealand and been lucrative for NZF, with sold-out games against Bahrain (2009), Mexico (2013) and Peru (2017).

FIFA's move was pre-empted by the fixture congestion created by the Covid-19 pandemic, along with the ongoing uncertainty around international travel.

This morning's draw means that the top Oceania team after regular World Cup qualifying matches will play the fourth-best side from North America's CONCACAF bracket.

That group of teams includes the likes of the United States, Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica and Honduras - with Costa Rica currently ranked as the fourth-best of that list.

To put their ranking in perspective, the All Whites are currently ranked 110th in the world, while Costa Rica lie in 49th place.

The North America vs Oceania playoff match is scheduled to take place in Qatar on June 14, 2022.

I agree. Think you do anyway from 2026 with the tournament expanding to 147 teams.

Just reading that the game was eventually abandoned just after half time with Benfica leading 7-0 as Belenenses were down to 6 players due to injuries......

A shocking and embarrassing day for the Portugal Football Authorities who should have postponed the game due to a COVID outbreak affecting 17 Belenenses players.......

FIFA really showing respect for their African affiliates by scheduling the FIFA World Club Cup to take place in the UAE during the African Cup of Nations. Africa’s representatives in the club cup, Al Ahly, have 59% of their players having to choose between club or country (Egypt).

Further to this and crossing threads a tad, but it's been confirmed that 13 Belenenses players have tested positive for the new Omicron variant accounting for every case in of this variant in Portugal......

FIFA trying to impose a 10% cap on agents fees from transfers and a 3% cap on fees from players’ salaries for their ‘services’.

I’m assuming FIFA have worked out that this just encourages transfer fee and wage inflation and simply don’t care.

Just had a peep at the current Greatest League in the World table and the top 3 have a combined goal difference of +92......

The teams from 4th to 6th have a combined goal difference of +10.....

Not one of the teams from 7th to 20th has a positive goal difference.......

You can tell I'm a tad bored with no R's games to talk about.........

Aw, diddums. I’m thinking some sort of fundraiser is needed. I’m going to sell homemade lemonade outside my house.

Oldham Athletic ban three fans for three years for 'promoting dislike' of club

Oldham Athletic have banned three fans for three years for "promoting their dislike" of the League Two club.

The fans received a letter from Latics general manager Steven Brown on Monday, telling them they were banned from first team and youth games until 2024.

Bradley Knowles, one of the trio, told BBC Radio Manchester he was "shocked" to be banned by Oldham and labelled the club a "dictatorship".
