When they started the Ennerdale Tunnel, I was talking to an old boy walking his dog along there, and he'd been pointing out the issue of the Springs to the 'experts' measuring up, and he said they kept humouring him and dismissing his comments. He enjoyed walking the dog along there more and more as time went on, especially when they were going to great lengths and suffering confusion when the water kept getting in, no matter how much they blocked the flow from the river. Sadly, their arrogance and ignorance cost the rest of us a lot of money.
Ennerdale link was that one, but they ****ed up one on Castle St too, but I believe for different reasons. They lost a very expensive bit of kit under there.
Many years ago me and my brother replace roof tiles on a house opposite the school. No scaf just ladders etc, all the old roof tiles ended up in the garden front and back. ****ing nightmare clearing up. As we were about to finish the bloke next door asked if we could do his, could of literally nutted him, so much easier to do the two roofs together. Said sorry mate way too busy… I’ve past there a fair few times over the years and the twat still hasn’t had it done.
I reckon that if, when the game kicks off, Wilks was to set up a little trestle table on the wing, crack open a four pack of craft IPA and smoke half a pack of Bensons, doing nowt else at all other than nipping for a piss in the sixty-fifth minute, Grant would still play him next week.
I rather hope there's at least a couple of dozen or more dressed similar, or you'll just be watching plastic grass grow.
No commentary on I follow, same as last week. Does the commentator wait for the traffic to ease before he gets to the mkm
