Fair result, shame we couldn’t hold onto the lead twice but Leicester could have nicked it so that’ll do.

That was quite a good watch to be fair.

 

Decent game that. Draw probably a fair result as both teams could have won it. Good point.

 

Everton just conceded from their own corner.

 

Decent performance all things considered.

A good game. Draw probably about right. We were better first half and they shaded the second.

 

Bit disappointing. What I notice, similar to my U14 team we always seem to be a little slow to the second ball in the opposition penalty area, very frustrating

 

Really not impressed. I know a draw against Leicester ain’t bad but it feels like a loss.

I don’t think Leicester were that good, they were there for the taking.

I’ll take that. When Maddison was taking Tino to the cleaners every time he got the ball it was looking grim, but we adjusted and started getting more of the ball. Alex kept us in the game a couple of times, and we should have scored at least one in the second half.

 

Macca kept us in it. Would have taken a draw before the game. Just fed up that we can’t hold onto a lead. A shame that such a good effort still leaves us in 16th.

 

It’s weird - apparently we have had a bad season and Ralph is on the brink (per the Amazon buildup) and people have been waxing lyrical over Palace and Viera this season and they have 1 more point…

Great game. So pleased to see Tella and he was excellent until that groin strain. Man, I hate seeing us drop leads once never mind twice but we were competitive and tough to beat. Commentators said that was Adams' first goal with his head EVER? Bizzare for a striker but he is one a great run now and playing really well. Lovely romantic and cinematic mini doc at half time about the 9-0 defeat, that got turned off quick smart and pretty disrespectful l thought, how about the return leg to round out the story?

Nothing tonight makes me worry for our season but Macca getting beat at the near post that way compounds the bad run he's on. Showed madison too much bloody room.

 

We needed a decent response tonight and not to lose. Got both. Brighton will be a good game on Saturday.

 

Problem is he's on loan and developing other teams players at the expense of experience for our own make little sense. He's a great option but I kinda want to see Adams/Tella starting ahead of him.

 

KWP man of the match for me. Redders excellent, but faded in second half.

 

Solid point against a good team. Frustrating to give up the lead a couple of times though.

Main positive for me is that when we weren't busy turning and playing backwards we did look pretty creative. Some strong pressing play was nice to see as well - always nice to nick the ball off an unsuspecting opponent.

 

I’m not a James Maddison fan, but that was a very fair interview.
