Whenever they embarrass themselves their defence is always 'it's just a handful of idiots every club has them' ... ... yet somehow their idiocy is relentless and seemingly endless. They must be the most hard working handful of idiots on the planet.
Author - Jonathan Gibson, I wonder if he's any relation to John Gibson of The Chronicle fame, same retarded magpie mentality. Fookin clown.
Am expecting some sickening photoshop of "Rafa" handing "Eddie" a flaming torch with "Wor Bobby" looking down from the heavens giving his approval
It's a real disgrace how they've used such a decent bloke for their own twisted reasons .. ... he was quite reserved and would've cringed at some of the stunts they pull in his name.
He came to the hospice where I work, maybe a year or so before he died, to cut the ribbon on a new minibus to passenger day care patients to and from their home. He went round and visited all the patients, and spent some time in day care chatting to the patients in there. He spent time talking to staff, and would sign as many autographs as anyone wanted....nothing was too much trouble. It was noticeable though when he was signing autographs that he couldn't use his left hand, his assistant was keeping whatever was being signed still, while he wrote with his right hand. If I remember right, he was expected to stay about an hour....he was there about 4 hours. I'm not normally the type to be in awe of "celebrity", but he just had that air about him, he was an absolute Gentleman....old school gentleman if that makes sense. The way he was treated by nufc and the mag fans was a disgrace. Contrast that to the Sunderland fans singing "there's only one Bobby Robson" at Celtic speaks volumes.

Nah not a chance it will be better than Rafa winning relegation.....you have to take into account were not kicking around & the whole winning relegation was an absolute **** wits comfort way around dodging the reality we stuck the final nail in the coffin at home to everton & they/ the world watched BSA & defoe be interviewed with a yellow ticker on the bottom of the screen saying newcastle relegated. Mental health is very serious, we have taken a christmas, 6 in a row, playoff & aftermath, smashing own city after 3-0, etc etc if acceptances was safc stuck the nail in which confirmed relegation.....especially as building up to their game at villa it was about to be the other way around.....it would have simply been to much to take so pretending it was the perfect time to be relegated was the choosen option
Wow, that really is quite something. No wonder that lot are all deluded if they continually read/write drivel like that. He certainly save the best for the last two paragraphs. - Joe Linton finally has a good game after 2.5 years so he’s now a superstar. - Howe’s a tactical genius, just doesn’t know how to defend. - Expecting to pick up 10 points in December and manager of the month. - The fortress of St James has returned, don’t you have to win games for it to be a fortress, or at least not get beat. - The top clubs will be in for a surprise all right when they roll into town. Probably weren’t expecting to get into double figures whilst resting key players.
I genuinely am astounded that the bloke thinks Howe is a genius because Joe had one good game and it's all down to him. Was it not Howes fault that the other 10 were ****ing **** I also am dumbstruck that the performance warranted the Mecca of Peckers to suddenly become a fortress
I suspect that this has been written with either a Saudi sword pressing up against the authors neck, and/or with a flipping great wodge of cash sitting on their desk. It certainly has a personality cult tinge to it. You could compare it to something that's been written for the benefit of some psychotic 3rd world dictator.
If that was a good game too! Sure he had the goal at his mercy, and then tripped over the grass and ended up on his arse? That's a low bar they have for Joe mind!
Mine too. The Chelsea and Everton games that week will stay with me forever, The atmosphere was electric and to relegate them live on Skysports was the icing on the cake.
I was at the Chelsea match but missed the Everton one for work. My Lord though that Chelsea atmosphere was one of the best I've witnessed in the SoL, I'd maybe go as far to say better than most of the derby games I've been to... I think that was the point where every SAFC fan thought we'd cracked it, Allardyce had us finally playing well, good form and on the verge of sending the scum down! And then Moyes happened
Aye mate. I'm in absolutely no doubt that had Allardyce stayed with us we'd have moved away from the annual relegation battles and started to push further up the table. I've just stuck a few quid on the exchange for the Chiefs to win the Superbowl in Feb, btw. It'll come down to them and the Packers, imo.
