Surely the 3/1 displayed on the Sporting Life website is an error?

Re Mot A Mot lovely to see a novice hurdle race with a proper number of runners in it (18). One of the few horses as well that the 11th richest man in Wales hasn't transferred to Sam Thomas. Is that notable, I wonder?!?

Currently trading at 3/2. Whatever happened to 6/4???

Yeah, I noticed that! Should that be a fact (and I'm 99.99% certain it isn't) then I'm opening the old vault...

I just wish I’d bought that share of a horse with Sam Thomas that stickler talked me out of.

I was thinking the same. I do miss old John McCririck with his "Ear hole", "Carpet" etc

Beautiful round of jumping from Bothwell Bridge there and you get the feeling he was keeping plenty back for himself. Good chase debut and should be value for another couple of wins if the handicapper doesn't clobber him.

Mulcahys Hill is way too big a price in the Pertemps Qualifier - once finished second in the Challow beaten a short head and 23 lengths in front of a certain Kilbricken Storm. Has had a wind op and goes well fresh, very interesting back over hurdles.

I spoke about that novice chase, at Exeter, being some sort of heavyweight clash between Boothill and Adrimel but cor blimey both were very disappointing especially the latter who, seemingly, did not want to know from the very beginning of the contest. Both now have huge clouds over them.

Tom 'Fast Pacey' Lacey may have been sighing over Adrimel's effort but Lossiemouth's win, for old girl Lady Cobham, must have left him rejoicing as the 6YO gelding won Sandown's Grade 2 with ease. Both Brave Kingdom and Fair Frontieres had their bubbles burst in that heat.

Stoner's Choice came 6th in Sandown's 'lucky last' but I'm afraid nothing from the 'Pertemps Qualifier' had me purring with a view to the Final. Unusual as I tend to get carried away, over these races, and envisage being in the midst of some sort of devilish plot. Or have I, team, just failed to spot 'the murderer'?!? Did my little grey cells miss something???

The magic tellybox highlight had to be the interview with our very own Lieutenant. Insightful, knowledgeable, honest, witty and a joy to watch. Lieutenant Henderson, I salute you, sir.

I also asked if today would provide a few 'answers'. Other than those aforementioned 'bubbles' I don't think it did.
