oopsy what will KLD make of that ****ing off the fans, tunes to the radio pours a beer

 

The lad who LJ flicked the V at was on Radio Newcastle phone in about an hour ago. Apparently he only said 'do us all a favour and leave' and then LJ reacted with that at FT. Would like to hear it from LJs perspective because I'd bet what was said wasn't as polite as that.

 

i think he will have time and instruction to publicly apologise, or the door will hit his arse as he goes for the taxi, anyone taking bets, fancy a shilling each way

 

I actually thought we played well second half. First half was awful but Johnson changed it at half time and got it right. Was all us second half. Was all them first so, realistically, 1-1 was a fair result. It’s funny that I try supporting my club from the stands rather than telling the manager to do one.

That said, if someone had told me to **** off, I would tell them the same… but I don’t coach a football club!!

Should have won it.

Had the chances second half but what on earth was Gooch (and Wright tbf) doing for their goal? Utterly cack that, kick the ****er away instead of passing it back inside and then flopping over wanting a foul.

We were canny particularly second half, they offered little. Opportunity missed frustratingly.

 

Agree with this, however, in context with the fouls given against our forwards, it was hardly any different and I can guarantee Oxford would’ve got a free kick for it!

 

nee idea what to make of that to be honest, did enough to win and on another day could have been 3 or 4.

that said, gooch trying to get a free kick rather than getting rid of the ball kind of summed the day up, found it rather funny that the oxford fans ironically started singing 'dont know what you doing' to the ref after the first foul in over ten minutes went against them...gooch's was not a foul but you do get the feeling if it was one of them they would have got it but i have never been a fan of 'winning' those type of free kicks, just clear your lines man.

i think we looked a little better defense wise but still left a man free in the box for their goal, pritchard has turned into a right tenacious little bugger let's hope it continues, many still slagging gooch i see but most of our better crosses came from him, embelton finally looked hungry again when he came on but AoB was not the best choice, dajaku starting to find his feet i think although looked much better early in the game on the left.

performance wise i am pleased, result wise i am p1ssed reet off, manager wise he seems to be sorting the problems...next step is turn these draws into wins again and i retract my statement from a few weeks ago and will welcome 2-1 wins again.

 

Meh. Another game we should’ve won… Just feels like we aren’t good enough for top 2, again.

 

Difficult to know what to make of that
Really poor first half manager changes things we look better second half. But I just have this gut feeling that we are stuck in a loop and not getting any better haven’t really progressed at all. I live in hope but I’m not surprised supporters are getting restless fourth year in this league seems like bloody ground hog day

 

yea mate but in his position he should know when to bite the bullet, he gets paid to be an ambassador and coach for the club not one of us.So should rise above it like all managers, KLD will do something about it mark my words it wont be dropped

 

Maybe they will look at the CCTV and relieve the fella of his ticket for a while. Not sure why any supporter would think it ok to do that, then twist on like a bairn because he got a reaction back.

Strange game. We fell asleep most of the first half. Second half we were class.

Should have won. Poor finishing. Ross is a worry. Seems a little lost. System isnt practiced. Both wing backs and CM need work.

 

Fella was quite open about it, saying the club know exactly where he sits, had a season ticket for donkeys years, got moved down when they shut the premier concourse etc. Will be interesting to see how this one pans out. I got the feeling he will be lodging a complaint about it tbh.

 

Maybe mate. Or maybe he is passionate and sick as a parrot at not having won. Maybe he cares a lot and is hurting after a game. Maybe he actually bit his tongue as much as he can when someone is clearly working their ticket. I wouldnt make too much of this to be honest, but that is just me.

I am sure people know but the bust up was about LJ losing it and adopting the mini Hitler approach. I say that, expecting you to know what I mean.

That said, it may have passed as all the stats show an improvement. Couple of key players out injured like.

 

What a bellend. Imagine going down to confront LJ after a pretty good performance and then, worse of all, crying about it and telling the radio. I dont know what some fans expect when they abuse players/managers. Big ****ing deal he gave him 2 fingers
