A performance by Saquon full of promise for the future. Excellent first run after all the serious problems the gelding has had. Bravo!
Cheers fellas. I don’t think, under the circumstances, we could have asked for much more than that. We have always known that he has ability but with his ailments we could not be sure what to expect. Fingers crossed that he comes out of the race fine and doesn’t suffer any reactions in the next few days. If he is fine then I think we will probably look to send him hurdling, maybe over 2m 4f, early in the New Year.
Delighted for you that he ran so well, yerman on the racing channel reckons he's probibly named after the New York Giants player? Onwards & Upwards
Having watched the race, I believe the winner only beat your horse stick as it got first run. Your horse ran incredibly well and will win for you very soon
