Until you can pass on cardiovascular disease by coughing on someone, it's not really relevant.

Went to Barrowlands in Glasgow recently and their restrictions, at that point, were tighter than here and much better observed.
Having your Covid passport checked to effectively no time whatsoever as they simply had one person doing it while you were in the queue to get your ticket done (same way as you describe I assume)
They wouldn’t need to employ anyone separate either as there’s loads of stewards kicking around.

All the Euro games at Wembley required COVID passes to get it, it really didn't cause any issues, other than the final (where many didn't have tickets, never mind COVID passes).

You forgot to mention the imbecility required to compare a covid passport with Nazi-ism. As the first comment in the post it completely destroys any other valid argument that may have been put forward.

Barrowlands is a bloody brilliant place to see a band. Anyway, yeah Covid pass check in at the Engine shed pretty much as you describe. Easy enough to do if you’re organised. But then we’re relying on the same stewards who interpreted the banned items list to remove kiddies sweeties…

anyway, after Saturdays match the next one will be Boxing Day and god know what the rules will be by then.

    Or poverty, or other factors.

In any case, obesity is epidemic in this country and affects 1 in 5 kids and 1 in 4 adults. I’d argue it’s more detrimental to the health of this country than covid.

Ah, the poverty which causes obesity in this country but stick thin people on poor countries.
Not so long ago they were interviewing people in France trying to get here as to why they were. One replied that he wanted to live in a country where the poor people were fat.

    This.
Poverty as an excuse for obesity is ridiculous and non-sensical. There's plenty of really cheap healthy satiating foods (see, I knew we could get it back on track), in fact the healthiest foods are typically the cheapest.

Sadly a lot of it stems from neglectful, lazy parents who would rather give the kid a fiver to spend in McDonald's or the chippy than cook a meal at home.

People can be obese and malnourished if they’re not getting the right nutrients. I don’t see the contradiction that poverty can cause obesity in developed countries but the opposite in developing countries. Developed countries have easy access to cheap, processed food that developing countries don’t. Poor people eating processed crap in developed countries whereas poor people in developing countries tend eating little, if at all, doesn’t seem like a contradiction to me.

You can eat properly for the same as processed food. Of course it means tearing your self away from your TV or phone, poverty eh? And spending a few minutes in preparation and cooking which some won't do.

Also, sugar is a huge contributor to obesity and developed countries have easy access to it in their daily diet. Chocolate and fizzy drinks contain so much sugar and are readily-accessible in the West.

Being diabetic keeping count of carbs is an eye opener as to what snacks and treats contain.
