    Ffos Las 1.15 Poldark Cross

Will be much better suited by todays testing conditions and trainer Harry Whittington had a winner yesterday. Daryl Jacob in really good form recently. Should run well for each way purposes.

    A rare one from me

    3:15 Findusatgorcome @ 14/1

This horse has course winning form, distance winning form and whilst he is best known as a chaser, I think this return to hurdles is good placing by Jimmy Frost and I think the ground conditions are key to this race. I am hoping that the soft ground doesn't dry up and that they have the worst of the ground when this race takes place, because I think testing ground is key to this horses chances. He is a dour stayer and needs this to be run as a test!

Good luck with the above, team.

I see that the Devizes crew have just paid £90k for a 4YO son of Flemensfirth, He's monikered Issuing Authority and will go into training with Lieutenant Henderson. Had a formline in Irish points of -52 with the '2' being just a head defeat. Meanwhile, the dam is a half-sister to Grade 1 victor, Annacotty. Potentially, exciting recruit, methinks.

Talking of Lt. H, he has another expensive Joe Donnelly (might be in the wife's name but he's fooling nobody except the tax people) purchase in the 1.10 at Ascot on Friday - City Chief. The Racing Post reports he won his Tralee point "snugly" over 3 miles on soft/heavy. The 2m 5.5f trip tomorrow ought to be a suitable test of stamina one would think, especially if it is particularly moist around Swinley Bottom

Paul Townend now 4 wins from 4 rides since returning from injury. He has Brandy Love (12:50) and Gaillard Du Mesnil (14:00) at Naas today to try and make it 6 from 6.

Just flicking through today's cards and notice in the 1:40 at Exeter, New Age Dawning makes his re-appearance on to a course for the first time in 1,001 days with a wind op to boot...!! Don't know if that's loyalty or what from the owners or trainer but with 2 wins from 4 runs, winning his last hurdle race back in March of'19, the 20/1 on offer with a couple of crookies and some paying to 5 places looks tempting IF you can live with that time away from the course for a horse who definitely not reached any sort of mark yet...

    Exeter 1:40 - New Age Dawning, 20/1

He’s a rogue, the jockey did well to get it to where they did.

Ella may take 7lbs of healing power who is 11s to 12s in the market . Healing loves to front run and Ella May posted a respectable 2nd at c/d 2 races back any run like that should see them go close ew for me though
