Well it's around midday, it's absolutely p1ssing with rain so what else is there to do but Cheers lads and lasses....
Blow me down … what a coincidence … other half collected the turkey from a local village butcher (along with the ‘mother-in-law’ - she wasn’t with the butcher !!) - got it out for prep this morning and …‘ol Bob Caldecott!! Looks a fine turkey I must say!
I wish you all lots of health, joy and happiness. Plus, may the R’s continue to bring us excitement, entertainment and a smile to our faces. Have a Wonderful Christmas!
We are very lucky as we have a genuine “White Christmas”, plus it is cloudless and sunny. Idyllic weather for the Festive Season! However, it will be rather chilly at night for the next few days with temperatures reaching -10C to -14C.
Here in freezing Canada, we are "basking" in fog at +6 deg C, A friend in Alberta tells me not all is warm and toasty in this country- she woke up to -37 this morning
I’ve taken all the decorations down this morning. It always looks tired after Boxing Day. Nice to have the house back.
