Quite a brave decision by the lad, to start so low down the football pyramid. Interesting to see how this develops and I'll be keeping an eye on his progress.
Aye. was shocked at that - especially as SS are in the top 3 but took the decision to sack Fents Good luck to him - it might put a few numbers on the next gate at Mariners Park
Unfortunately the Tyne/ Wear divide has already kicked in, with some Shields supporters saying they won't be going because of his connection to SAFC. How sad is that?
Good luck to him....strange for an icon to start so low down the pyramid system, but shows he has fire in his belly..
could be a good start for him, no point aiming too high so a good club to 'cut his teeth' at. good luck to him.
I was gonna post yesterday but fell asleep Bit of a shock but should pull a few more fans in. Hope him and Shields do well.
Lots of us sang Hooliooo when he was sparkling for 'Sheels, Nig, and I'm looking forward to hearing how many sing SKP's song . . . . 'cos it will be sung
He might even get some cheers from home supporters when he brings his team to Morpeth's Craik Park next month! Until kick-off that is.
Saw Shields win the FA Vase at Wembley a few years back, with Hoolio lifting the trophy. Love to see SKP get them into the League. p.s. FTM, especially those who can't bear the thought of a SAFC legend at SSFC. Bob Stokoe was a mag and he has a statue at the SoL!
