One might suggest being strong and picking the same line up and backing players would be good.

Whilst I agree there is also the selections whilst on tour, picking the wrong players for the wrong conditions for a start.

Don’t disagree. Been a **** show from everyone.

Root has done ok batting (when you compare his totals to the Aussies think he was 3rd in total). Bowlers done ok. Robinson did well albeit fitness issues at the end. Broad did well and Wood came good eventually.

Just same old problem though. Bat first need to score upwards of 400 and couldn’t even get to 300 and 200 a lot of the times. Doesn’t help the bowlers or the captain that

And the poor fielding. The 11, no matter who never looked like they were about the business. Loads of drops, I didnt see too many brushing a gut to cut off runs etc.

In general you want to see the 11 all up and lively and in their faces.

Just seen some of the dismissals, christ they are appalling. Half of them look like the Batsmen just wanted to go home

The whole tour has been embarrassing. Absolutely humiliated by what is a rather poor Aussie team.

We can't bat, can't catch, can't pick a team and can just about bowl.

The whole "getting pride back" by scraping a draw in the 4th test was shameful.

We need to start again when it comes to test cricket and the ECB need to actually prioritise it if they want the team to be successful.

Aren't we supposed to be good at the short forms?

Currently following the example set by the test team and collapsing.

No, we just invested in it but we have still done the same old stuff and have stuck with Morgan probably too long now. All gone a bit stale imo

Big scoring game in the cricket. England left themselves with bit too much to do I reckon. 63 from 4 overs. It’s possible

Salt made a decent effort but just wasn’t quite enough.

Its T20. if one side sets 224/5 then the bowling has to have been poor AND there's very little chance of catching that.

Its not quite 12 and over but just about.

england got 204, thats pretty damned good but when you can't control the bowling and the other side slogs way its impossible.

Can’t see Root going. It’s not his fault that the other batsman are ****. His form hasn’t dipped, would seem harsh unless he doesn’t fancy it anymore.

Also who would you then have? Butler isn’t even guaranteed a spot, Stokes is a maybe although feel hell overbowl himself. Past that can’t see anyone else

captain as best batsman is a silly england tradition. pick a bowler. its about being agressive and root makes too many conservative decisions. let him bat.

captain v form with bat is imo irrelevant
