Some boy is Attenborough. I love watching his documentaries. 2 episodes of this one so far on iPlayer. 'The Tropics' and 'Waterworlds'. Superb

luckiest bassa in the world as far as i am concerned, great job, great pay, gets to places most would not be allowed.

love everything he has done, quite recently watched one where he revisited an island he had been to many years ago, the original footage was all thick jungle and the up to date stuff was a grassland with the old sawmills scattered around...sadness.

The phrase “National treasure “ gets bandied about liberally about certain individuals... but for me Attenborough tops any such list for that category... the man is a genius

Stick him alongside bozo and there are not enough words, weird how the tories are clinging to the idea one of them needs keeping to gain reelection while the other is a pawn in a gambit?

Aye it's mint. I prefer the blue planet like. I'll be gutted when SRA goes the journey. Any time I watch anything related and someone else is on comms it immediately becomes inferior.

Took the words out of my mouth Prehab, the person having to step into his shoes will need bloody big feet.

A little while back, prince William seemed to be everywhere with Attenborough, and I wondered if he was eyeing up the role.

I must be the only one then.

Certainly this last few years he seems to enjoy preaching as much as presenting. I can do without him, and frankly I'd rather a different voice was heard and given the openings he has had.

Won't happen until he can't do it mind, so enjoy.

Big fan of Attenborough, been part of my life pretty much the whole way through.

He's a one off and can't be imitated but I also quite like Steve Backshall, think he just does a nature show for kids at the moment. More of a Steve Irwin type than a gent like Sir David but he seems equally passionate about animals of all kinds.

I like him but as with a lot of other stuff nowadays the preaching gets on me tits.

'Seasonal Worlds' is the next one..

"Plants of the seasonal world face constant change. They use strategy, deception and feats of engineering to survive. Most importantly, they must get their timing right."
