I like the idea of holding the teams to account who are asking for more money.

I hoping they could evolve the sprint race. Personally I think it should be separate and not the forming of the grid

Zack does seem to be mentioning teams 'controlling' other teams for their advantage in quite a few articles recently. I wonder if he has clicked on to the 'loop hole' of the 'B' teams budget being used to produce parts for the 'A' team's cars at a cut price?
If VW/Audi/Porsche do come into F1 as PU supplier to Red Bull then Red Bull will have spent a huge amount of money for their Honda PU tweaking facility! Maybe they will just use a VW/Audi/Porsche badge on the Honda PU but how many fans would just see that as an pu badging exercise?
I think if VW/Audi/Porsche are to come into F1 they should do it properly i.e. buy Haas and then supply another team with a PU. Actually thinking about it maybe buy Alpine as they are a more complete team with PU and chassis capabilities - although would Renault want to sell Viry - I have no idea if that's just for F1 or other engine development?

Didn’t work . I was trying to highlight your bit about the FANS seeing it as a badging exercise .

If that is the case , I doubt the fans are on their radar at all sadly .

The sprint race only works for me if they reverse the championship for the grid, but then the spectre of Mazapin winning at Monaco raises it's head.

Don't have a spint race in Monaco that's a crazy idea in itself

afaic you either have them at every race or you have them at none, otherwise it's not really fair.
In all honesty Liberty taking over F1 and picking and choosing what they want is turning it more and more into a WWE-esque sport.

I agree in all ore none, doing some form of reverse grid and separating it from the championship, but I much prefer the idea of dropping it completely. There's nothing wrong with the current format.

They want a better show, so concentrate on closing gap between teams and improving racing. That's all we need.

This has nothing to do with being challenged by Verstappen. It has to do with the fact the rules were blatantly ignored/circumvented to make sure he wouldn’t win when he had done everything right to put himself in position to win the championship.

You missed the nuance. I was suggesting Lewis won't walk away because he will want to stick it to RBR and the FIA. We all agree it was unfair and actually more than that, insulting. Lewis is not, in my opinion, a quitter.
Lets assume (but not the preferred outcome) there is a rule change that allows the ability to drive the other driver off the road, as is Verstappen's style. Lewis needs to shut the door to the late breaking on the inside, and I am sure he would. Hopefully, the grey areas will be sorted. The main is consistency, dealing with cars going off track and in all other areas. The consistency needs to be in both judgement and penalty. Hopefully. there won't be many last lap dashes after a safety car but when deployed, must be consistent.

Well news seems to be coming thick and fast.
Honda are going to continue producing PU for Red Bull and AlphaTauri. Reason being is so that when VW/Audi/Porsche come in as a PU manufacturer with Red Bull they will be considered a 'New PU manufacturer' so have more advantages.
There are also leaks coming out suggesting FIA are restructuring the race director and stewards and that Masi won't be race director for 2022 season! That could mean he just gets a title change and more help or he's out completely.
