The owners first game in charge was against Spurs on match day 8. W 0 D 3 L 4 prior W 1 D 6 L 6 since We have 18 games left. I reckon we need 35 points this season to stay up. So 23 points minimum in our remaining games. If we drew every game @Balldricks ballsack we go down. Realistically we need: 4 w 11 d = 23 points but only losing 3. Nope! 5 w 8 d = 23 points but only losing 5. Very unlikely! 6 w 5 d = 23 points but only losing 7. Possible! 7 w 2 d = 23 points but losing 9. Less likely! It is possible that we could get away with less points but the above highlights why today is in my opinion a very important game. I think to stand any chance of surviving we have to win 6/7 games out of the 18 remaining.
Just loading the car up with soft drinks (wtf). The lads I’m picking up will have crates of ****ing beer. it’s gonna be a long day and I think we will get beat 3-1 personally. If not the fick dry January I’ll leave the car in Leeds and get on the cans.
That match last night, how the **** are we supposed to survive when we can’t even beat either Watford or Norwich?
It's now a must win, which means we'll lose. Norwich did us a huge favour last night, and Watford are right in the **** now.
Leeds and Everton are both must win games now! Huge, game today and absolutely cacking it already! I'd be tempted to go back to 3/5 at the back tbh with no reinforcements having come in, Schar and Lascelles are to much of a liability to keep a clean sheet on their own. ---------------------Dubravka ------------Schar-Lascelles-Dummy Trippier-Willock-Longstaff-Joelinton-Manquillo ------------------------ASM -----------------------Wood Could even be tempted to drop J.L. and get Miggy on the wing opposite Max and drop the full backs deeper. But I mean honestly what do you do with that defense? Clean sheet is a must today - if we keep conceding we are down and Schar and Lacselles need to prove their worth today. The only positive that will come out of them being as sh!te as usual is that might just force the owners hand in brining in TWO competent players and just releasing a few CB's
If we can just win the next 5-10 games on the bounce then I think we'll be ok. I mean Man City have won 13 or something and we're less than half the team they are so should be able to manage 4-5 wins in a row no issue.
I’m doing something I don’t often do. And that’s predict a Toon win. I am absolutely convinced of it so much so that I am willing to be nice to everyone later on.
Everton losing, they're plunging right into the **** atm. With Watford and Everton on horrific runs, we've been very lucky we haven't got cut adrift.
