    As it should be.

In the end the final is going to be tough but you never know what Chelsea will turn up.

They absolutely.out played us all game but let two goals in and then relaid on our stupid inability to play out without risk. Such and error strewn game.

We need the time off now after palace to get some rest and energy back in the legs .

Alison only played the first leg for some game time I believe. Kelleher has been brilliant when required and deserves to try and win a trophy.

Kelleher could be long term replacement for Alisson in my opinion. He isn’t going to do that if he never plays.

Guys done nothing wrong in the cups and has deserved his place. You can’t just not have a second keeper, what happens is Alisson gets injured, then Kelleher goes into team having no match practise all season?

In the end kelleher has been promised domestic cup games to keep him sweet and he haved a pen to get us there in thr earlier rounds.

Keeper sare a different beast to other spots as they really don't get any chances otherwise so are unwilling to sign deals if there's a top keeper blocking them.

Luckily kelleher is not English or the media would be going nuts over this talent as they were when the bang average Dean henderson has a streak for a poor sheff utd side.

Kelleher can actually use his feet and produced a top top one on one save v Shrewsbury that alisson would be proud of and kept out everything arsenal had to offer.

He fully deserves his game imo and I see nothing in Chelsea ranks to scare me into saying alisson must play. It is what it is, it'll be won or lost in intensity and pressing in midfield zone not by keepers.

Both keepers seem quite alike in general style and temperament.

    Champions League is a cup.

    Oops, already been said. <laugh>

League Cup sucks... But that said,. we're in the final and should try to win it. Best team on the field.

... Unless Klopp fears Keheller would walk without the time given.

Klopp said when he told Kelleher he wasn’t playing first leg he wasn’t happy and questioned why (in a positive way) so think would be really unfair not to play him in the final. He got us there with the pen saves v Leicester as well as some good performances in the other games. The only goals he’s conceded are in that 1 game.

I said before I can see Kelleher being our number one in a few years if he’s happy to sit around and wait until then. Unfortunately I think he’ll want to go be number 1 at a prem club and I think he’d prob walk into most bottom 10 teams now let alone in a year or two.

Crosses is maybe a bit small/weak but shot stopping is great and he’s better than Alisson with the ball at his feet.

    Alisson is a man mountain.

The lad is still slight enough and could certainly do with filling out

He's certainly not someone I'd want to lose. Especially since keepers lose match sharpness if they don't play all the time. He's done well despite only playing in cups.

I agree that Kelleher should play the final simply because he got us there.

Would send the wrong message to da yoof looking to come through.

Really not a surprise klopp has chosen to stick with him imho

Basically klopp wouldn't have told him what he did if he wasn't already totally sure of his ability.

It could have been 2 or 3 games though so it's a risk for the lad too as he's not no 1 choice for Ireland not that they are any good or going to world cup etc.

I'm sure that will eventually motivate him to want a full loan in the prem.

There ought to be 10 clubs falling over themselves to get him in the prem already

Given arsenal wasted 25mil or whatever on ramsdale who's not half the keeper and Leicester bought ward off us for 12 and he is Wales keeper despite being fairly average....

Well imo we've a 30mil asset on our hands here.

I'd loan him out. Might need him in a few years.
