I presume you were chasing the missus upstairs for some reason :bandit:

Usually I find there's no need to rush, they want to be caught.

I see the cops are going into investigate downing street bunga bunga/slide parties.

Conveniently this "delays" the whitewash, erm sorry report from the civil servant threatened, erm sorry tasked with reporting that boris did nothing wrong.

In other news the hilariously named Met Police Commissioner Cressida Dick commented that her officers are supposed to keep the perimeter not prevent fat ****s breaking a childs slide at 1am in the morning or something.

good news though, apparently its not normal to investigate after the fact like this so the Met has nothing to go on here. you couldn't make it up.

    Can you imagine the scenes

somehow Boris has a slide for a barely 1 year old that apparently the throws said one year old down that fits an adult (or rather an adult tired to fit)

one can only imagine how child services have not been yet called to no 10.

It doesn't seem to be a very safe place for raising kids.

If it were a council estate where randoms were coming and going and partying all night round a 1 year old and the parents were hosting boozy summer parties while holding said kid then child servies would be in taking said kids into care.

If I were cynical I'd say that the recent scrapping of covid restrictions was a blatant attempt by Boris to try and rescue his disastrous public approval rating.
If I were cynical that is...

He was probably more trying to appease Tory MPs than the public at large. The public can't vote him out yet, Tory MPs can.
