It's a huge knock on effect which will take years to sort out. What they have done in 2 years has put us back about 5 imo. Credit to the recruitment team (again) for getting a lot of players in at that level, (Dyce, Carney and others ) but they need the likes of Johnson (u18) coming through to be looked after (loan maybe next year) and then to contribute to the first XI

They need to be out on loan at 19 imo. Simple as. For lots of reasons. Good footballers, yes they might be. Decent players but need toughening up...yes also a reason. Soft as ****e but all the ability in the world........yes you're going out on loan as well.....<cheers>, have a dose of 'grow up and sort yer own digs out <laugh><laugh>

It's good to see Sunderland supporters wishing the lad well and I know it's sincere, whatever's happened in the past.

So it's annoying to see 'articles' like this tbh, doesn't reflect the reality at all imo.

They have a poll asking a few people, addicted to the internet, if they're happy that he's gone <doh>

"A number of Sunderland fans have reacted with joy after it was announced that Denver Hume has left the club in the January transfer window."
