Have you contemplated backing Eklat De Rire NRNB at 40/1 for the CGC prior to today's heat??? Can be argued its something of a beat to nothing as if he romps in his CGC price will, likely, collapse, or alternatively if he bombs out then the NB part of the wager will return stakes.

That at any rate is the policy I'd be looking to adopt, in the same race, if Angels Breath ever gets given a 5 day entry for a race between now and March.

I’ve looked up and down the Thyestes entries and my pin has alighted at Mullin’s Class Conti @ 33s ew. Predictably Mullins/Elliott dominate the recent honours board for this race and they have over half of the runners again. It’s not always their fancied runner that prevails though and this one has run well in the heat in the last 2 renewals. Good luck everyone having a punt.

15:05 Gowran Park - Mister Fogpatches

(Just for interest in the Goffs Thyestes Handicap Chase. Really like the name! Always a very interesting event is this marathon Chase. 12/1 best price in 4-or 5-places at time of writing, e/w of course. Other than that, haven't had a chance to check other races as yet. Good job too, I hear you say! :emoticon-0100-smile :bandit:).

Wow Klassical Dream turned over at 1/3 in the Galmoy Hurdle. Anyone seen it? If Champ doesn't win the Cleeve on Saturday the bookies will be scratching around trying to find a new fav for the Stayers Hurdle. Sporting John anyone?

15:25 Southwell - Cometh The Man

(After 23-starts this Dandy Man gelding is still a maiden. Signs that things are improving, however. E/W at the 10/1 generally available. That'll do for today!). :bandit:

Yes, I like Sporting John a lot. Been kicking myself for missing him LTO. An honest and consistent staying hurdler IMHO.

Jared Sullivan looks to have bought a nice animal there in Sholokjack. Couldn't have done that any easier.

Dwelt. Ran OK but lost all chance at start. Stick him on my tracker, as gelding could still be worth following a couple of times more at the minimum distance on the Tapeta surface? Not going to make him a cliff horse though! :bandit:

Rich Ricci has another nice horse there in Mercurey. He was 33/1 for the Champion Bumper last week but after a stylish victory at Gowran Park today he is now just 6/1 (best price) for Cheltenham glory.

I like Sandor Clegane for the Champion Bumper and 25/1 still available ;).
