There were rumours of this a year or so back IIRC, albeit I don't think it came from someone like Ally Gold or Dan KP. I can't imagine Levy's the most popular bloke in football though these days. Could be partly why Paratici was hired but it does beg the question how much influence he truly has, I'd like to think he's been handed the complete reigns of transfers at the least but the way this window's gone on, it's certainly gotten the Levy feels about it. I'll judge it in four days time.
It matters not what level of personal authority Paratici has, if he's been given no budget. There's been no additional funding, no stadium sponsorship, we owe £40m on Romero, we were trying to loan Traore and we're lowballing on Diaz...? Welcome Frazier 'Bloody' Campbell and Ryan Nelsen....
Some positive news coming out today from Ally Gold that there is optimism regarding getting Diaz in. Obviously not getting carried away because we have been here before (Skriniar, Dybala etc) but now again our club does surprise us and pulls of top signings like Romero and N'Dombele ( who half of Europe's top clubs were after at the time) Even if we only got Diaz in it would be a fantastic window. He is that good and what a mouth watering attacking trio that would be - Son, Kane and Diaz. If we also added another 1 or 2 by Monday eve then even better. Paratici needs to redeem himself let's hope they get Diaz over the line....
It's all jumping the gun by that logic. Nobody has been signed. I don't assume to know what Conte has planned. I only comment based on who we appear to be interested in, and guess what might work. I don't have faith that any players are coming until they are wearing the shirt in an official post. It's the hope that kills you.
Joint top scorer with 23 goals in the Japanese top-flight, which his team won. The other top scorer, Daizen Maeda, joined Celtic recently and scored on his debut.
Romano Update - Loan deal for Amrabat's good to go and has been since Sunday(?) - Still in discussions with Porto over Luis Diaz - Ajax still looking to sign Bergwijn on a permanent deal - Expecting to see Ndombele and Dele leave on loan Yeah, that Amrabat thing's a little odd, isn't it? It does beg the question why, as it could just as much be on hold waiting for Ndombele to sod off as it is making sure he doesn't break a leg at the AFCoN
Not sure how that works. Morocco face Egypt on Sunday. If they win, then they'll still have two games left.
Diaz Watch Oh boy, we've reached the point where somebody with good standing for Colombian news is tweeting emojis
And now Nico Schira says we're in talks over a €20m deal for him (Antonin Barak for those wondering). Battle of the journo's again, ladies and gents!
If people ever wonder why I will never take women's football seriously (aside from the fact it's horrendously bad), Spurs women have just loaned in a player from Arsenal. The absolute ****ing ****?
Technically only Moretto is a journalist...although as it's for Calcio Mercato and Fichajes, he's basically a tea boy for tier lists Which is somehow one better than Schira
