New ownership team got that sorted out quickly. Common sense.

It's so refreshing to see the club quickly making these sorts of changes, acting promptly on what they know people want and just getting it done. We were conditioned for years into believing that everything was too difficult or costly. Given excuses and fobbed off at every turn. It always seemed like surely a new owner would one day do this sort of thing, but it still feels great to see it actually coming to fruition so quickly.

Think what you like about Burns/Swan and nights out and pies etc, but this is a good thing.
You don't have to listen, but for those older types that can't get to games and don't have access to streaming, it's a lifeline.

Great news that Humberside are back, not so great news that they haven't used the opportunity to move swanny on at least

Good to see the owner recognising, prioritising & righting the wrongs from the off.

    Top man.

He’s got my backing. No radio coverage was one of the things that pissed me off the most. People that couldn’t get to games for whatever reason should still be able to listen to live commentary. It’s a lifeline for some folks, it was a despicable act by the pair of ****ing twats. I’m glad Acun has recognised this and promptly made good.

Is it too soon to start moaning about how Burns and Swan are terrible commentators who aren’t as funny as they think they are and only seem to know about pies?

I’m pleased local BBC radio is back in, just wish they’d gone with presenters who don’t really suck.

It really is like they've been monitoring the fan's complaints and have just gone down the list ticking them off. What a refreshing change.

I suppose I should feel a bit sorry for fans of Scunthorpe and Grimsby as they won't have their matches as available any more, but - nah.

    Yeah agreed.

    local radio back?
Pissed off Scunny and Grimsby fans?
    Swan and Burns back?

    2 outa 3 isn’t bad for a start.

Let's face it, the choice of commentators is with the Beeb, not Acun - I don't think even he could fix that. Could he?

On the off-chance one of his team is reading this - a sub of Meyler for Swan would be :smiley-finger007:

AM reception is ****e in many areas south of the Humber, when we're at home and Scunny are away FM should go to the team that plays away. A long standing complaint from Scunny fans, and they have a valid point.
