Deserves a lot more credit than it has actually got! Young Mignolet gets a bit of stick from time to time but no doubt the signs are there and that one save against Bolton could well be the turning point of our pretty dull season. If Bolton scored then I doubt we would have had the space to score the second as Bolton would not have been pushed that far up the pitch so hats off Mig well done son. KTF
no offence, but wasn't really a good save. Did well to come off his line quickly, but more of a poor shot or not taken his chance.... you would expect all keepers to save that, pretty routine. Mignolet for me still does not cut it for me, has a lot of making up to do after his many errors over the past few matches. I can name a lot of errors as well...
for me a seasoning defining moment is a save where you go F**KING hell what a save...i.e. Craig Gordon vs Bolton. That was season defining.
No a season defining save can be any save good or bad which changes the dynamic of the season. On that basis if it had gone in and we had come away with a draw, doom and gloom . Make the save win the game kick on to better things and onwards and upwards we go. So if we kick on yes it was a season defining save.
