I don't blame them. I'd be trying to do the same in their situation and we're a notoriously soft touch for away fans in the home end.
Wouldn't bother me as long as they're not being abusive (which I suppose is the issue and loads would take it too far) Seem to manage it abroad as long as they're not with the home "ultras"
As mentioned, we're a notoriously soft touch when it comes to away fans in our end. Let them buy a ticket as long as they're ejected as soon as they celebrate a goal - but we know that won't happen. Yeah we've all been in the home end for the occasional away trip but most of us have the good manners to shut the **** up when we score. The difference at City is that the home fans and stewards are so supine and spineless.
Not sure exactly what year it was but they had Chilton and if I remember correctly they scored the winner pretty close to the end? Lost 1-0.
No we won 1-0, Waggy scoring. They were 1st Division we were 2nd and I remember feeling really sorry for Chillo when it went in, he just seemed lost.
I remember writing a status on Facebook about 10 years ago Liverpool fans in the home end. I had loads of plastic scousers whingeing. One even said it was a community stadium anyone who should be allowed in any stand.
I remember about 20 to 40 of us getting marched back to the train station by plod - I remember many City were dressed in all white to reflect clockwork orange - white skinners and white shirt or white boiler suit / bib and brace or the good old butchers coat aka mental coat - with Cov fans surrounding us and getting in our pack and walking along with us, you weren't too sure who was City and who was Cov - it was going off all over the place - those were the days
People just need to start giving them a slap...it will soon stop. The worst are the plaggy Liverpool supporters who were born in Hull.
