All pretty spot on for me A mention for Perraud too, who has had a promising first season. Best French signing of the season?
Agreed, with Perraud getting the overseas signing of the year. He's fitted into the team pretty well seamlessly with no complaints about not being first choice LB. Tino has to be one of the prem signings of the season an absolute steal at 5m.
Maybe controversial but I don’t think JWP deserves player of the season. He was poor at the start and at one point Diallo alongside Romeu was looking a more progressive option. His stats are very good and I do think he’s probably been the 2nd best, but KWP has been more consistently putting in top performances, even out of position and it’s harsh he’s had no recognition of his season for us at the awards.
I didn't pick him but I have to say that when every player on the team votes for him as player of the season I'm probably wrong. Easy to overlook the workrate and influence in favor of pace and 1v1 success. In truth without his goals and assists we would be well in the **** so perhaps that's the biggest thing.
Apologies I forgot to tally up all the votes. So I can reveal the Not606 awards are: Player of the season: KWP Young player of the season: Tino Goal of the season: JWP v Wolves Flop of the season: Adam Armstrong Most improved player: Fraser Forster Signing of the season: Tino
