I’m also a fan, and it doesn’t break any rules. Don’t feel any differently this morning. Indiscriminately throwing objects which can cause serious injury into a broad of people (including kids), just wishing karma on them

So the Wednesday Facebook is full of Mags or people slagging Sunderland off using Newcastle references!! Put a post on about the coins and apparently it didn’t happen because I’m not scarred for life! (Got hit in the leg)

    Clean sheets breeds confidence.
I'm confident we'll see this through on Monday.
To read some of the comments on here you'd think we got beat.
Just be happy we've got our noses in front and trust in AN getting things right on Monday, just like he's mostly done since he came here.HTL

Agree he did a good job on Bannon .. but thought after his yellow and Bannon dropping deeper he was off the pace for the last 15 mins.. I was surprised he stayed on, not negative just tactical

That was how I saw it as well. At times he was doing a man marking job. Mind you he got away with that daft tackle early. Yellow card all day. Overall I thought he was good when they had the ball.

The first time he hurt himself was very early on in the 1st half. Like you say, hid it well.

Thoughy it was a good performance, sheff wed made it really difficult first half with tight game between defence & midfield, almost flooded that area & think this made it especially difficult for roberts to find space who then pulled out wide a lot which stopped gooch coming forward more, great to get a goal just before half time.

that 20 mins from start of second half we absolutely blew them away, played some cracking stuff if we were 4/5 up after 65 mins nobody could have complained.

think because we didnt then score we burnt ourselves out a little, i thought they were going to sneak one then it settled down again with subs.

happy with the game/performance, we have a lead....only negative is we didnt finish it so monday eas a none event....BUT did anyone think things would be that simple/easy with Sunderland <laugh>

I don't understand the naysayers, I thought it was a decent performance from the lads. Enjoy the win <cheers>.

I can't see us not going through now, if there's one thing Neil has done it's made us hard to beat - undefeated in our last 14 now. Don't see SW changing that based on last night's performance.

As for O9, he did exactly what he needed to do, stop their danger man. It's a thankless task, but he did it well IMO. It reminded me of Ji Sung Park Vs Pirlo in the Champions League all those years ago... Although obviously at a slightly different standard <laugh>

My take good overall performance 1-0 was the least we deserved. Cracking atmosphere and good to catch up with friends again. Monday will be squeaky bum time but I do actually fancy us to finish the job off. Keep the faith lads and lasses.
