Thought about that just before kick off last night, I was in the Arsenal end below where our fans were, still can't figure out how a club like Arsenal couldn't sell all their tickets, what a day that was.

I was at the Arsenal game in 1973 it was 49 years ago , frightening to think next year will be the 50th anniversary, still as fresh in the memory as if it was 5 years ago tbh.

It was some day, absolutely magic. The actual match itself is clear as day in my memory. The aftermath less so!

That cup run had so many special memories for me. Oxford away on a night because it was rearranged and we just took over the place. Two trips to London and Super Dav at Chelsea. That header. But the semi was remarkable.

I was there as well in the Kop end, 12 year old and first away match. Not a bad start eh :emoticon-0103-cool: I always remember the walk up the path to the terraces after going through the turnstiles and thinking what a ground it was!

Funny thing is Gatesy, I was similar age and was astonished and impressed by the amount of piss swilling about when we went in the ground

Brilliant game and a bit emotional leading up to kick off thinking of the folk who'd died. All forgotten when match kicked off, absolutely superb day out that was
