He got someone to check if anyone else was on holiday and there isn't. He then asked his boss and she will have a look at it on Monday when they are both back at work - he is pretty confident he will be OK.

Wembley with my dad and my son… I’ll make the most of every second mate. If I couldn’t have sorted my dad a ticket, he would’ve been getting mine… he was supporting the lads far and wide 20 years before I was even born.

Just had a great chat with my son, quite emotional.

We're down early Saturday, meeting up with the lads, match, then meal with just me and him in a nice Italian then out to celebrate around London.

Being in town with thousands of great SAFC people is wonderful and means everything ...

... if you don't get football it means nothing but I'd rather be me than them.

I’ve been emotional since we scored Monday night mate. This means a lot. Enjoy every second. We are Sunderland.

Driving down with the 2 sons on Saturday morning. Probably leaving about 5am.
Staying at the Premier Inn Kew Bridge. I've stayed there before when going to Twickenham. Parking sorted in Morrisons car park 100yds along the road. 5 - 6 miles to Wembley so probably a taxi ride to soak up the atmosphere. I didn't realise there's a ban on drinking around Wembley so we'll find a pub hopefully.
Then driving back Sunday with a git big smile on my face hopefully. :1980_boogie_down:

We’re heading off at 6.00am - staying at the Premier inn right next to the stadium and parking on someone’s drive about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Never drove to Wembley before so hope I get down without any problems!

If anyone is after train tickets, you can still get an open return from Durham to kings cross leaving at 5am and 5.39am for £155

The 7.01 from Durham via Leeds is also available

Most people may be aware of this - saying that I wasn’t until yesterday when my mate told
Me! But If anyone is driving down and unsure about parking, this app is really good. Lots of different options from peoples driveways to supermarket car parks.

Heading off from Roker area at 7am. Hotel in Elstree, so giving myself 5 hours to get down there. Taxi booked at 1230 to take us to underground station. Ideally will be at wembley no later than 1.30pm
