Incidentally a big thanks to you for helping with tickets, top man. I reckon they'll be forced to give us more blocks now we've sold out ... AGAIN. Since Wycombe blocked Sunderland from buying their sales have slowed down so there's no excuse. Come on you ********
Lad over the road reckons there is possibly 10 upper blocks empty. Would make sense to split them half and half
Current (10:30) Wycombe ticket sales are 19,000 made up as below All of the Lower Tier, some of the 200 Blocks and 501 to 505 upstairs That means that there were still 13 Blocks (506 to 519) Upstairs that they have not started selling yet. Even (unlikely) if they doubled their Top Tier sales from 5 Blocks to 10 Blocks (501 to 510) that would still leave 9 Blocks (511 to 519) sitting there unsold. That's about 5,000 seats.
From their forum, it really is pathetic "I hope the club are all over the potential ‘day tripper’ market in and around town for the next few days - Wycombe Sound, leafleting at the stations, flyers on windscreens at all the supermarket car parks, contacting all the schools and sports clubs, gyms etc to get it announced. Such an opportunity to tempt new fans not to be missed. The volunteers could be out doing this. Would be myself but don’t live in Bucks.
Anyone off here? BBC News - Sunderland fan says Wembley via Menorca route cheaper than train https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-61435895
Pooing themselves on the WWFC forum .... "Hard not to be a little suspicious of any 'local' fans turning up at AP to buy tickets because they supposedly just fancy a day out ... then shelling out for the 80 quid ones." They just don't understand what we're capable of. Some are saying we'd have to drive down from Sunderland. They just don't realise how much we'll get exiled friends, family, workmates, van drivers at other branches, etc, to help. When we had the away fan ban at Luton a mate paid a local taxi driver to go and buy tickets ... ... he just paid him online for a fare and got the bloke to collect him from Luton Station on the day
Wycombe refusing purchases from Sunderland people who'd previously created accounts ... .... Boooo! "I have investigated this and the reason you are not able to gain access is because this email has been identified as having an active account on Sunderland AFC’s database. As part of the agreement with the two clubs and the EFL to stay on sale for accounts without purchase history, we cannot sell tickets to accounts that have been identified by Sunderland as having an account on their system."
Some of them think we’re being entitled by wanting more tickets, they’re allowed treble their average yet we don’t even get 50% more. They’re begging anyone to go yet we’re expected not to go in their end to watch our team. The allocation for us was ****ing stupid from the start.
"The highest number of tickets bought by Mackems masquerading as #Chairboys fans for any match this century."
It's not a case of being entitled. We'd have been exactly the same with Man City, in the LCF, if they hadn't shifted all their tickets. Wycombe think we're talking down to them when we simply want in.
And nothing about Wrexham who have all but sold out their 29,000 seat allocation for Sunday's FA Trophy final (just a few single seats left). Wycombe's average gate this season 5,658, highest gate 9,005 Wrexham's average gate 8,220 and highest gate 10,118
