Must be class living in London. All the permits, for everything, fortunes to travel,money pumped into the place,fines for everything and probably an oxygen tax in the not so distant future. You know how they say everyone is being reprogrammed subconsciously to make things the new normal? Well I went into a garage the other day and found my self apologising for paying with actual cash money, I have no reason why, other than we were told after lockdown to use Contactless whenever possible. Its becoming normal. Card only at football stadiums and even Beamish.

 

This has just gone off to the club in case anyone is waiting for tickets from me or the club ...

I purchased several tickets for the game game at Wembley on Saturday and despite the below information, I’ve not received any tickets within the suggested time period. I understand that this has now been delayed and tickets may not be able to be issued until as late as Thursday. I’ve purchased tickets for people who are over 80 years old and when I mentioned downloading the ticket to their apple wallet the majority of them thought I was joking and they didn’t have a clue as they don’t have an iPhone etc.

Due to the apparent issues with Gmail addresses, I’ve updated my email address on my account to my work email address to enable me to print our tickets off before I finish work for the week on Wednesday at 4pm.

As I’ve been advised by a number of friends, that tickets may not be emailed out until Thursday, what am I able to do?

Will there be any way of collecting actual tickets at Wembley on Saturday morning or will we simply not be able to attend the fixture if I don’t receive the tickets before tomorrow afternoon?

As we’re all travelling down on Friday morning, I know several of my friends are in exactly the same position as they all have gmail addresses and as they don’t have access to other email addresses, they’ve changed their email address to mine as I deal with all their tickets normally.

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated as we’re exceptionally concerned due to the most recent announcement that we’ll not be able to attend this particular fixture and support the lads as we have done at every previous game this season.

I can’t understand why they are leaving this until the last minute, it’s been a week since I bought my tickets. I’ve also had to change my details from my own gmail mail to a work email and will be finishing wed / thu before heading down to London. The robbing bastards have also charged us £1.25 for this privilege, which will be just short of £60k for the safc fans alone

Guy I'm going with has a ticket for the Wycombe end. He's a neutral so figured it was the easiest way to get him one. He has his ticket now.

 

I hadn't realised they had their tickets, that just makes it feel even ****ter from our end!

 

does that suggest the problem is with SAFC ? I thought it was out of the clubs hands ( i.e wembley or EFL's responsibility) but if WW have their tickets now, it looks like thats not the case. or a meringue?

 

That's it, on the count of 3..everyone bombard Chris Waters with furious emails about why we haven't got our tickets, yet them Wycombe twats have got theirs....

 

Is this definitely just a Gmail problem? I went into resend the confirmation the other day and it came through (to my Gmail account). I've just gone and created an outlook account now, am I better off changing the details in the ticket account to the outlook one?

My second marriage was quicker than it's taking to get these tickets

 

I've changed it to the new outlook one and resent the confirmation email. Came through nee bother.

Unbelievable that the biggest ticketing site isn't compatible with the biggest email account provider.

maybe the gmail issue is the delay with ticket release

 

It's could well be but surely they could send all the none Gmail emails out asap though.

 

No one unable to do this until Gmail gets sorted out....

 

Just been on to my account and resent my Wembo email confirmation, came straight though. If anyone still having bother have a go again. I'm curious, will the 2 I got on my account come through as separate downloads?
