Re. pass accuracy, Kipre's passing stats show that a high percentage of his passes are forward, as opposed to sideways or backwards. In that respect his passing profile is much closer to Ben Gibson's than Grant Hanley's. That makes sense in relation to how I believe Dean Smith will have us play, i.e. getting the ball quickly forward and aiming to win possession in the opposition defensive third.

What will you do if Smith keeps Hanley as first name on the team sheet? Commit hara-kiri?

You mean he's still going to be here? Surely not.

Bournemouth haven't taken up their option on Cantwell, so Smith expects him back in pre-season.

Curious, suggests either Smith doesn't know about Huddersfield's option, the option is less concrete than we thought, or Huddersfield haven't taken the option up.

So exit Rupp, Gilmour, Kabak (already gone), Williams and Normann. With Williams there seems to be rumours from Man Utd about offers for him. With Normann, will he still want to return to Russia? Cantwell returning will be an interesting scenario and Sinani might be worth a look pre-season if he is not sold. IF Pukki goes then we have both Hugill and Idah although not in the same class as Pukki.

Williams & Normann both have massive potential and I would like to see a deal for both , but they will be expensive and Williams had some weird issue with fans outside the stadium so highly unlikely.
They both probably think they can do better than Norwich anyway.
Personally I would like to blood a ton of under 23 players and use next season aa a rebuilding mission.

Sell anyone that doesn't want to be here .

Curious one: Ozan Kabak is back training with Norwich this week, having returned to Schalke for injury treatment. Norwich players go on holiday immediately after the game tomorrow.

He's unlikely to be fully fit, and in Byram and Hanley we at least have 2 fit CB options for the weekend. Gibson likely available too, and there'll be U23s for the bench if desperate.

Why would we bother bringing him back from Schalke to train when his contract is up in days?

That's pretty impressive Dunc! Looks like he's spent some time in the gym as well.

Ironically he was released by Norwich at the end of this season, that screamer will no doubt help him to find a new club .

Norwich are being touted with a move for AFC Wimbledon winger Ayoub Assal. 20 years old but we also face competition from Fulham & Brentord. Plays mainly on the right, but can also play on the left or as a central attacking midfielder. Wimbledon's current interim boss is ex Canary Mark Bowen.
