Few deals being announced straightaway already I see. Hopefully we can get some business done early and have some deals already lined up. That second half of the season must surely be so helpful to our immediate ambitions. It's been a great advert for the club.

In the last 19 games we've been 3rd best team in the EPL behind City and Liverpool and across the whole season only finished SEVEN points off a European spot despite giving everyone else a 14 game head start on us. A few signings - think even 2 exceptional ones like Paquetta and a CB + a few young players like Nkhetia and Etikite - and we will be laughing next season.

Imagine a full season of Howe in charge we'd have got more than an extra 7 points...

 

Agree a major overhaul would risk the good spirit we have created. They seem focused on getting the right types in so trusting the club will do good business. Paqueta would seem like a no brainer considering his relationship with Bruno who has proven himself to not only be a quality player but a too lad too.
