So this week sees the big one reach it's conclusion. Five English clubs have won it plus Celtic for Scotland. Losing finalists include Leeds and Spurs. It's a wiki article but looks correct. Anyone going to be watching and what are your predictions. I am going for Liverpool just because i don't want Real Madrid to win it again. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_UEFA_Champions_League_finals
I'm expecting Liverpool to dominate but Real do have Benzema who just doesn't miss this season. Not a big fan of Liverpool on the whole. I liked Klopp at first but he seems to have an opinion of anything and everything else the last year or so. They are a great side though, one of the best. Always had a soft spot for Real so hopefully they can do it. I just think Liverpool are super strong and will win comfortably. If that's the case, hopefully Milner gets a run out at some point.
Nothing against Liverpool FC, ****ing loathe that **** klopp so I want Real Madrid to shut the bastard up, It's only the Fairs Cup anyway,
I don't have a problem with Liverpool... prefer them to Chelsea and the scummers any day of the week. Also easily the best team to watch in the premier league in terms of exciting/quality football (i find City's keep ball a bit anitseptic). Don't like Klopp but then football managers just aren't a very likeable bunch in general are they? Driven, competitive, obessive, myopic, alpha male tossers for the large part. The more successful ones in particular. Eddie Howe seems a nice guy... and Potter and Hassenhutl seem ok. And er... struggling after that.
Never had a problem with Liverpool although Klopp has turned into a bit of a knob in recent seasons. They hate Man Utd and that's good enough for me. Real Madrid for me epitomise the whole "European Super League" attitude (yeah I know Liverpool were going to be part of it too), and the video of their so called fans begging to get back in to the Bernabeu having left the semi-final early then hearing the roar from the stadium as their team scored two goals to take it into extra time was one of the funniest things I've seen in ages. So, Liverpool all the way for me.
Won't be watching it, don't care who wins it. I am so indifferent to football these days, unless it involves us. Probably grumpy old man syndrome, but hark back to the days when if a British club wasn't involved in the European Cup Final, you had to rely upon Harry Carpenter showing highlight's on Sportsnight on a Wednesday evening. Those days were bliss
I might watch it but it’s an English club vs Spanish so I’ll hope Liverpool win without caring if they don’t
Exactly. Hope to see a great final and don't really care who wins but would rather it be the English club. If Man City had made the final then I'd have prefered them to win and that's solely because they are not Liverpool.
Couldn't really give a ****, sort of game that has to kick off before I can decide who I want to win. Tired of the Scouse love in, Klopp was OK but turned into a twat, Real are just arrogant. Same goes for udders and the trees. Whatever happens it won't be the scousers fault. ****s the lot of them.
It's not that i care who wins i just want to see Madrid lose. They have been bleating on how unfair it is and how teams are out spending them. Well tough shyte as they and barcelona have done it for decades. Paris have scuppered them this week and the English prem is doing the same with sky money.
If its any consolation mate, I'll be chuffed for you personally if you win. I'll look forward to you trolling the chavs all summer. I know you are a bit nervy on the result but from a neutral you are streets ahead of Real at the moment. Chelsea battered them at the Bernabeu when they actually attacked them and City probably should have scored 10+ with the chances they had over two legs. Van Dijk needs to stop Benzema and its pretty comfy.
Thanks bro, and trolling chavs is like a hobby for me so you'll get that regardless Think it'll be quite a tight game tbh, I'll go 2-2 and an extra time winner from one of us.
