Liam you're like a broken record. Can't you move on. So so bitter and a little obsessed.

Because he's a minority shareholder with no influence and no presence beyond attending games when he plucks the courage up.

Can the moderators start moving posts about D&M to the thread started by @Smug in Boots so that this thread can remain to be about the future?

Let those who want to argue about theft/morality/personality argue the toss in there so I can safely ignore it and chat about the important stuff in here? Cheers.

So everyone should stay in their little box should they? Don't have ambition, don't work hard, don't grasp opportunities when they present themselves. Know your place.

I dont give a shiny ****e about how he has done at West Ham, the coward gave in and gave his mates a pension pay off. If Short had really been interested, Dr Death would have been sacked

Moving forward, we are back on the BBC website again, there's hardly been a mention for the past few years, now there are 2 articles on there, under The Championship, one about Patterson, the other about Roberts. We are definitely clawing our way back into the lime light.
If it's already been mentioned I'll go back to sleep!

Minority or not he has a 19% stake in the club, whether you or I like it or not, it's fact.

True but absolutely nothing you can do with a minority share in a private company

This, once you have 75% control (which is what KLD has with Sartori) you have Majority shareholding
Having a majority holding of 75% or more of the shares in a company evidently puts that shareholder in a stronger position as they can pass special resolutions. In the eyes of company law, this is an important threshold to attain

The point remains that at the time it was an excellent appointment. Who could have predicted how terribly it would turn out?

I remember coming home from work one night after we had won away. Fleetwood had won aswell, there were two championship games that night aswell. 10PM Bulletin on talkSPORT.... No mention of leauge one. Even when there's next to nothing to report sports wise, no mention. I'm sure we'll get more exposure next season mate.

No one can ever tell, and supporters should almost never be listened to.

But Moyes was never interested, lazy, arrogant, spineless and self serving. A far superior manager had just made a far better job with the same tools and from a far worse starting point.

Certainly Short was often hopeless in appointing people, but in this instance, for all the talk of broken promises, I've always wondered who pulled the wool over whose eyes there.

If the job wasnt as advertised, (the kindest interpretation of his time here I can think of) he should have walked the moment this became apparent.
    Spineless useless arse.

    A.N.

he did well with the tools he was given, he does seem happy here and in his work always comes across as very relaxed and at ease with his work...i like him and hope he can continue the work he started last season.

that said, it will be a while before i 'elevate' him into the realms of our best managers ever, BSA only really got it going for the 2nd half of the season and that was with a bit of luck from the january signings and while we all loved his time with us we have no idea if he could/would have been able to continue it into the next season.

i honestly hope i will be able to return here in a couple of seasons and say A.N. has been the best thing since sliced bread, he is doing good so far ;)

Bob mate, they made huge cutbacks and tried making money from the academy products. If they ran out of money, that lies at their feet for not having the acumen to turn it around. They didn't spend much on the stadium either, like I say I know 2 contractors working on the facilities side who had to wait for payments, but only carried out essential maintenance. That's now changed apparently, so lets move on, you wont find many Sunderland fans heaping praise on the two stooges. But here's to the future, because I have said previously. when the club, the players and the fans are all pulling together, the juggernaut is almost unstoppable at this level.

Him doing so well at West Ham makes the job he did here even worse. If it turned out he was finished fair enough but he wasn't something wasn't right when he arrived and he gave up.
