Bench today would have been better with the injured and suspended back. Firpo, Forshaw, Cooper, James, Ayling, Sinisterra make hell of a difference

After hearing Radz say that KP asked to move to Citeh he's dead to me. I don't support players I support Leeds so if you want to fk off and play somewhere else then you mean nothing to me any more.
I do hope he ends up warming the bench so much that he misses out on the World Cup but that's because I'm a vindictive c*nt. His wallet can keep him warm

Well Merson, Sutton and every pundit, you know fk all. We may not winghe league but we wont be going down nobbers.

yes very good teams will split our defence because of our tactics but we wont be battered by any team outside the top 6. We will win more games than last season and are a better team.

One swallow doesn't make a summer but early indications are very very positive indeed.

I predicted wolves to struggle this season so I’m not going to cream myself, but I’m pleased to see signs of a ‘team’.

Marsch’s sides are typically aggressive and try to out score the opposition. Last season he was just trying to stay up… so hopefully whilst it might not be as beautiful as bielsaball - the football won’t be as dull as some feared. We’re gonna be in some basketball games again.

Better start than last season plushow many games before our first win?

Always nice to be 3 points ahead of Villa, Southampton, Everton, Palace and Forest, but also 2 points ahead of Liverpool. Yeah I know, dont get carried away but after last seasons start, and what happened after, we got to smile a little

    Go easy guys.

Long season ahead and we were generally second best to a technically superior Wolves team. However we won and showed great aptitude and tenacity in doing so.

Think you are giving Wolves too much credit there. Wolves always looked dangerous on the break but that first half was pretty much all us.

2nd half they were dominant until Klich came on and at that point we got a foothold again. Ultimately we got the goal and pretty much just saw the game out from there.

Thought Meslier made an excellent save just on half time but the rest are saves he should be making. We should have had a penalty, the two goals, Bamfords header and both Rodrigo and Bamford were millimetres away from converting a Harrison Cross first half.

Close game. Thought we edged it on chances. Couldn't really have lamented our misfortune if it was a draw but I'm finding it hard to believe that Wolves were dominant and we were 2nd best. It was a great game of football to watch. Top level stuff.

To be fair, watching their chances back, with the exception of the goal which was sloppy, their chances were from pieces of individual skill and good moves. Reassuring that they weren’t from them walking through us unchallenged <laugh>

Thought a draw was prob fair, but I’ll take the win!

It's all about opinions of course and we did really well to get back in the game when it seemed that we'd be picked off similar to last season and lose the game by 2 or 3 goals.

Second half was real backs to the wall stuff for 20 minutes or so with Wolves camped in our half, but we weathered the storm and during our good spell managed to score the winning goal.

Honestly watching it live Wolves looked really classy but lacked their centre forward. They had two big lumps as centre halves but apart from that the rest were technically excellent and the 60/40 possesion stats in their favour is a clear indication of how well they played.

The fact we dug in and got the win is massively encouraging so let's be really happy and enjoy the moment but also we have to realise that today was our day and there'll likely be plenty of other days where it doesn't quite go so well.

Jammy - I Think a lot of people had written marsch off, and were bricking it about losing kp and raph so there’s an outpouring of relief that we a) got 3 points and b) looked like we had a clue for at least a significant part of the game.

I doubt anyone is under any illusions that we’re world beaters. Fulham nearly beat Liverpool, Bournemouth best Villa… we won’t be the only fans of a ‘relegation favoured’ team to be enjoying the moment tonight.

All the crap pundits who say we sold our best 2 players so relegated, and even us fans who complain about selling them, forget that Phillips wasnt even playing most of last season so we are not missing him. We missed him last season and have replaced him now. Adams does the donkey work aided by Roca, so not missing Phillips

I've watched some Wolves fans on YouTube and their feeling is that they were the best side. They dominated but couldn't take their chances and lost to 2 defensive errors. They say that their squad depth cost them because we only came into it when their players tired after 65 minutes.
    They forgot that:
We had more better chances than them
We had a stone wall pen turned down
We also had a bench full of kids
PL players shouldn't be fkd after 65 minutes
Marsch changed players to give us more bite in midfield, not necessarily because players were tired
    We caused their defensive errors

And the most important thing is

    They lost and we won!

I'm going to predict that, if he stays fit, Aaronsson will get more goals from open play than Raph did last season.

Mate they’re not crap for pointing out we sold our best two players and signed unknown quantities, they were just stating facts.

We won a match at home against a team that is expected to finish in the bottom quarter. They did dominate for periods, we played well for periods, both keepers pulled off some great saves.

We deserved a penalty, but if the roles were reversed we would have slated the two goals and called them “gifts”.

I’m super relieved we got the three points, I’m glad we were not as disjointed as I’d feared but it’s just one game, we’ll have some much harder tests.

I’m still enjoying the fact we have bagged three points but I think it’s way too early to be getting excited. Jesse has a new system that relies on two DM players let’s hope they both stay fit

I don't think many have Wolves down as finishing bottom 5 Rich, their record since getting back is 7th-7th- 13th-10th,so not exactly bottom feeders. They are a pain in the arse to play against, they have play acting down to a fine art.
And you're right,it is just one game but let's be positive and say,it's the first competitive game together and the more they play the stronger they'll get as a unit.

I’m far more positive about our chances now mate than I was 24hrs ago. I’ll soak it up today, but I still think we’re one or two players short and just as one defeat doesn’t define a season, one win doesn’t either I was simply trying to point out let’s remain grounded and not get carried away, lots of work still to be done <ok>
