    I posted a while ago about the new Chelsea owner and his plans.The Chelsea fans want to hope it doesn’t include having the prices at his baseball club. A beer there is £15.

    Yet all season during the wet winter months Wasps played rugby union on there as well as Coventry City with no problems.

    The Coventry ground was in a bad state before the Commonwealth Games started, there was supposed to be a new pitch laid at the start of the summer, but they staged a big music event instead and didn’t bother.

    I see West Ham has put up barriers between away and home fans so they cannot see each other, presumably so they can get more in the ground, not having to have a gap between them. This must affect the atmosphere as part of the fun is the banter between 2 sets of fans?

    Spanish radio claim Barcelona jointly set-up a holdings company to which it paid €150m of its own money to buy its own assets (to inflate value of sale). La Liga rejected it as not "new" money. Barça must now pay €37.5m tax on this payment. <doh>
