Makes the £1.10 per day I spend buying it seem worth it just to avoid the comment section, although I really only buy it out of habit. More fun to come when the news breaks (public notice section of today's edition) that Marfleet Lane flyover is closed for four weeks, starting from this coming Monday.
So new approach....how many points he has on Fifa multiplied by his height should give us a reasonable appraisal!!
Just a thought.. I know we slagged off McCann, and rightly so sometimes.. but he was working under the Allams and bringing in mostly free or very cheap players.. I wonder how he'd have us playing now with this owner, money available and current squad. Better than Shota? I think so..
Do we really think it was Shota's idea to plunder the Turkish market for our new signings? I suspect McCann would have ended up with a very similar squad to the one we have now. Whether he'd have them planning any different.... 433 might not be a bad shout these days. Clusterfuck.
Things would always be better under a different manager, and with a different formation. We've had two good results to start the league season. Enjoy it.
That’s about half way through the season, 21 games, so probably too late to be swapping the manager to try & push on to the top. Who knows, Shota might figure out how to get the best out of these players, hopefully.
Never know, the players might get match sharp and get to know eachother with a bit of time also. Maybe they give as much a **** about the league Cup as I do. It's ridiculous bed wetting at the moment.
Im not really happy with the football being played but know all the players really like shota Lets givr him more time
The investment going into the club right now is cause for optimism, Acun and his team have my support, we've yet to see a supposed best 11 on the pitch. KLP was going irrespective of who the owner was, my only disappointment to date is that we've lost Honeyman. It's going to be an interesting few months whilst all settles down but believe the current squad is more than capable of finishing mid-table, it's progress.
Honeyman and Smallwood should have never been allowed to go. It's possible they wouldn't make the starting 11 each week, and perhaps neither of them wanted that, but they'd have made fantastic squad players for a top 6 push.
