Spot on. At the moment we do not seem to create situations where we go through teams (lack of a number 10 who drives at people) or round them (wingers or wing backs who can get to the bye line and put in a decent cross). And our central striker too often looks isolated. I had hopes this might be addressed by playing Oscar plus either Allahyar or Tetteh in tandem, but Allahyar seemed to be stuck too far left again last night and Tetteh the same. And it has been like this for some time. Surely it's not being unduly negative to point this out.
The Iranian lad has been a disappointment. One goal in loads of starts. Puts plenty of effort in but a disappointing end result. (bit like our kid)
Keeper doing his job is a fluke? Ingram played very well but he didn’t pull off many worldie saves I wouldn’t have expected him to make…
I thought you had announced your retirement from this forum some time ago after having a hissy fit about the Bullshit insider **** you were pedalling
Just reading Ngakia is a defensive minded full back, definitely not a wing back that likes to get forward and put good crosses in... Does make me wonder, but at least it adds more competition and depth... We just seem really unbalanced at the moment, but it's early days with the amount of new players we've brought in, with more to supposedly come.
**** knows but if he goes they’ll be putting themselves under serious pressure and I’d be very worried what the future holds under this regime
The things Shota and Acun were saying about Greaves’ contract situation didn’t inspire confidence. A lot of ‘we hope he signs’ and ‘we’re trying to get him to sign’. Really disappointed that he’s not signing a new contract and I now think he’ll go this window. Acun mentioning FFP left the door open for us selling another of our star players for big money to balance the books in terms of headroom. A lot of people on here have said Greaves is replaceable but I think we’ll struggle to find someone just as good this window who will settle quickly and hit the ground running.
Maybe greaves is just negotiating and not just accepting the first/second offer ( as most players & agents do )
