We within a couple of minutes and very good strike if winning. No it wasn't a great performance...it was OK.. bearing a number of first teamers were missing...others were making sure they were not injured. There is a string sense of self induced panic here. Let's see what happens at Sunderland
I'm not sure anyone is panicking at the moment. I can only speak for myself, obviously, but there just seem a feeling 'of going through the motions' at the minute. I'm not doom and gloom, neither excited or buzzing. I'm struggling to see any direction from the club.
I’m hoping this team will have kicked itself up the jacksy after Tuesday and bounce back with a much better team performance. I don’t feel panicked, I think/expect there is much more to come from this manager and this squad. As always a little luck along the way with opportunities and injuries would be nice too. We have kept our good players and they have last season under their belt as well - so they should be kicking on. I expect a number of fringe players will know they need to step up or MB will make the tough decisions to replace them quickly moving forward. As for where we are .. absolutely all to play for. The night is young! Time to take on the mackems and their 45,000 crowd.
I don't see anyone panicking Beth. The improvement when Willock returned was plain to see, but now, apparently, he's injured again. This is a concern, a worry even, but no one is panicking. There are things going on that fans have every right to question. This doesn't make those asking the questions gloom and doom merchants or panicky people.
Not after 2 league games ! Plus the majority of those teams would have decent back ups, we don't. And 2 of those out had only been back for 1 game !
